Tim has been in real estate sales since 2006.  He is involved in the community and has served on various committees and boards since coming to Boone in 1984.

Tim was in broadcasting for more than 40 years, starting in radio in Miami, FL, at the age of 16. He was program director for WQAM in Miami before moving to Boone, NC to be program director at the local radio station, WATA.

In the 1990’s, he had a vision of what the community needed and was lacking at that time. He brought the first television station to the Boone area, known as MTN, the Mountain Television Network. With his leadership and direction, MTN was profitable from day one.

Tim loves working with people and guides his clients in all aspects of the buying and selling experience for residential, land, and commercial properties.  His main focus is achieving great results for his clients.

Tim is a member of the High Country Association of REALTORS.  He is married to Janice Baxter, who is a real estate broker and is the office manager for Baxter Mountain Properties.
